Simple Eats, 4/15
Hi everyone! Welcome back to this week’s Simple Eats!
Seeing that it is mid way through the month (crazy, right?!), I am sure you are aware of April’s Simple Eats theme: Fuel and Refuel. Last week we made an amazingly refreshing orange dreamiscle smoothie and some frozen pea protein mint chocolate chip pops. You can probably tell that I am craving the warm summer weather with these refreshing post and pre work out treats.
This week we will be focusing on the following ingredients:
Greek Yogurt – Greek yogurt is packed with protein, calcium, gut positive probiotics, potassium and B12. So if you don’t have a dairy sensitivity or intolerance, greek yogurt could be a great staple in your kitchen.
Egg – Eggs are very nutritious. Eggs are packed with protein, healthy fats and zero carbs. Eggs also are incredibly versatile and can be prepared in a number of ways, including: scrambled, fried, boiled, baked and even microwaved.
