Hi everyone! Welcome back to Simple Eats!

Wow, it’s April! It’s time for a new Simple Eats theme. In March we focused on how to snack, and provided you with snack recipes to keep you satiated and on track with your nutritional plan. This month we will be focusing on how to eat to maximize your training results. Different types of exercise call for different types of fuel. Not only that, but didn’t types of food are essential before and after your work out. Don’t worry – it’s not as complicated as it might sound.

Each week we will be featuring meals/snacks and we will let you know what exercise they are best paired with and when you should eating them!

This week we will be focusing on the following ingredients:
Macadamia Nuts – Macadamia nuts are 100% cholesterol-free and a great source of monounsaturated fats.
Bananas – Bananas are very high in potassium which play a key role in muscle function. Potassium is most known for aiding in muscle cramping and discomfort.
